Since 1991, I have had many wheelchairs: from titanium frames to sports models. I am now using my third O4 wheelchair, and for good reason. I also use the Flow Active for work. These two chairs have truly changed my daily life for the better.
From twice a week to never again
I used to go to the manual therapist twice a week as a matter of course. My sitting posture was far from optimal, and I felt that every day in my back and shoulders. Since I started using an O4 wheelchair, that has changed dramatically. Thanks to the ergonomic backrest and adjustable sitting position, I get exactly the support I need without extra cushions or makeshift solutions. Therapy appointments are a thing of the past. That not only saves me energy, but also travel costs and time.
Why a good sitting position is essential
For me, a good sitting position is not a luxury, but a necessity. The backrest of my O4 wheelchair moulds itself to my body and remains stable, even when I am actively moving. This allows me to sit, work and travel for longer periods of time without any complaints. And that makes me more independent and productive.
Driving comfort above all else
Although the O4 is not the lightest wheelchair, the driving comfort is unbeatable for me. The balance, stability and ease with which I move around give me confidence. Even over longer distances or rough surfaces, I continue to drive smoothly.
Independent and stylish on the go
My wheelchair is an extension of myself. And to be honest, I feel pretty cool in this chair. The design is sleek and modern, perfectly suited to my active lifestyle. The fact that I have fewer complaints as a result completes the picture.
